Booking Terms & Conditions

Important information to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay

These Booking Terms & Conditions are in place to ensure all guests enjoy a safe, comfortable and relaxing stay at The Old Vicarage. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

General Booking Conditions

  • Minimum booking period is one week.
  • No parties, stag nights, hen nights or adult groups of more than 10 people.
  • Out of consideration for neighbours, no noise after 10:00pm.
  • Pets are permitted only by prior agreement at the time of booking.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the property.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
  • The Old Vicarage accepts no responsibility for personal injury or loss of personal belongings.

Cancellation by the Holidaymaker

Any cancellation must be made in writing and addressed to:

In the event of a cancellation, we will endeavour to re-let the property. If successful, a discretionary refund may be offered. We strongly recommend guests take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by the Property Owner

In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable, the owner will attempt to offer suitable alternative accommodation. If this is not possible, a full refund of monies paid will be made. No additional compensation or consequential losses will be covered.

Pets

Pets are welcome only by prior agreement. All pets must be house-trained and must not exceed the number or type agreed at the time of booking.

  • Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
  • Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning caused by pets.
  • The owner accepts no liability for injury or accidents involving pets.

Cleaning & Care of the Property

Guests are expected to treat the property as they would their own home. The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the stay.

The owner reserves the right to apply an additional cleaning charge if the property is not left in a similar condition to how it was found.

Breakages & Damage

Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported prior to departure. Minor breakages and reasonable wear and tear will not be charged.

The owner reserves the right to charge for significant damage or unreported breakages.

No Smoking

No smoking is permitted inside the property.
Evidence of smoking may result in a £200 cleaning and deodorising charge.

Complaints

We aim to ensure every stay is memorable for the right reasons. Should any issue arise, it must be reported immediately so that we can attempt to resolve it during your stay. Failure to report issues at the time may invalidate any subsequent claim.
